Hear Me Out

So there I was at lunch just getting my food, not bothering anyone.  I was getting the regular sloppy joe that they serve for lunch.  By the way, I suggest you upgrade the food that you serve at lunch; it's not appealing.  Once I filled my plate with slop, Will came out of nowhere and stepped on my new shoes!  My new, white shoes!  Keep in mind my birthday was yesterday, so I wanted to wear these new whites to school, but apparently I can’t without getting mud all over the surface of them.  I asked him why he did it, but all he did was say it was an accident.  I knew he was lying, because I have a little history with Will.  The other day he asked me for homework answers, and I said no.  Because I said no, he tore up my homework and I had to start all over again!

After he didn’t apologize, he willingly stepped on the other shoe!  Not only that, but he flipped me off!  And I know this school has a strict policy on targeting gestures.  This was my breaking point, so I set down my plate and pushed him into a table.  When he made contact with the table, I charged and punched his jaw.  Then out of nowhere, his friends came and grabbed my arms, leaving me wide open for him to sock me in the stomach.  The group of guys threw me on the ground and all attacked me.

Now I want you to answer this principle.  If someone, perhaps a co-worker, were to mess with you every single day of your job.  Everyday he insults your clothing and talks bad about what you can and can’t do.  He decreases your strength in your mental health everyday for kicks and finally, he purposely spilled coffee on your newly bought shirt and tie that your wife generously bought you, would you stick up for yourself or just allow him to continue picking on you?  If I just let this slide, he would continue to mess with me again and again.  Even if I did tell a teacher, that wouldn’t stop him from bullying me and putting a damper on my day.  My dad taught me to defend myself, and that is what I did.  I’m quite sure you would want your son or daughter to defend themselves if they were getting picked on.  Why can’t I do the same for myself without getting charged for it?  If I were to get in trouble, I want Will to get into even worse trouble than I am getting in.  He ignited the flame and he needs to be punished for his ablaze.  You can suspend me if you want.  For three days a week, hell I’d be fine with two,  but just know that I did what I needed to do, and I hope you, sir, will understand that one day.
